WASHINGTON, DC – The Corn Refiners Association (CRA) is pleased to announce that Michael Anderson has joined its staff as Senior Director of Trade and Industry Affairs. In this role, he will provide strategic and tactical leadership to CRA and its members regarding trade policy, statistical and co-products reporting programs, and industry affairs.

“We are very pleased to welcome Michael to the team,” said CRA President & CEO John Bode.  “His twenty years of trade policy experience and leadership roles make him an invaluable asset to the CRA team as we continue to advocate for strong trade agreements and policies.”

Anderson joins CRA from the U.S. International Trade Commission, where he held several positions working on trade remedy investigations, free trade agreements, and trade policy analysis for the U.S. Congress and Office of the U.S. Trade Representative. He holds a master’s degree in international business from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Utah.

The Corn Refiners Association (CRA) is the national trade association representing the corn refining industry of the United States. CRA and its predecessors have served this important segment of American agribusiness since 1913. Corn refiners manufacture sweeteners, starch, advanced bioproducts, corn oil and feed products from corn components such as starch, oil, protein and fiber.
