WASHINGTON, DC- Last night, the Senate confirmed Stephen Censky to the position of USDA deputy secretary and Ted McKinney to undersecretary for trade and foreign agricultural affairs. Corn Refiners Association (CRA) CEO, John Bode, had this to say about the set of duo confirmations:
“We commend the Senate for confirmation of the nominations of Steve Censky and Ted McKinney. They are able gentlemen who will provide Secretary Perdue the strong support he deserves. Particularly with NAFTA negotiations advancing rapidly, it is vital to have all the key players for American food and agriculture trade interests on the field. Congratulations to Senate Agriculture Committee Chairman Pat Roberts, who so skillfully guided these nominations through the confirmation process.”
The Corn Refiners Association (CRA) is the national trade association representing the corn refining industry of the United States. CRA and its predecessors have served this important segment of American agribusiness since 1913. Corn refiners manufacture sweeteners, starch, advanced bioproducts, corn oil and feed products from corn components such as starch, oil, protein and fiber.
