Corn Refiners React to Retirement of USTR’s John Melle
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, in reaction to Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for the Western Hemisphere John Melle’s announcement of his decision to retire at the end of this week, John Bode, President and CEO of the Corn Refiners Association, commented:
“America owes John Melle profound gratitude for his tireless public service. One could always count on John to be both relentless and diplomatic in pursuit of strategic objectives.”
The Corn Refiners Association (CRA) is the national trade association representing the corn refining industry of the United States. CRA and its predecessors have served this important segment of American agribusiness since 1913. Corn refiners manufacture sweeteners, starch, advanced bioproducts, corn oil and feed products from corn components such as starch, oil, protein and fiber.
