WASHINGTON, DC – In response to the Biden Administration’s intention to nominate Alexis Taylor, Director of the Oregon Department of Agriculture, as Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs at the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Corn Refiners Association President & CEO John Bode issued the following statement:
“Director Taylor is an outstanding choice to lead agricultural trade at USDA. Her extensive experience in agriculture and trade is tailor made for this pivotal position at this challenging time. We are confident the wealth of knowledge she brings will better position the United States as a leader in the global marketplace. Upon receipt of her nomination, we hope the Senate will proceed swiftly to approve Director Taylor’s nomination.”
