Corn Refiners Commend Biden Administration Executive Order on Biomanufacturing

WASHINGTON, DC – Following the announcement of President Biden’s executive order to launch a National Biotechnology and Biomanufacturing Initiative, Corn Refiners Association (CRA) President & CEO John Bode issued the following statement:

“This executive order underscores the wide-ranging benefits presented by the U.S. bioeconomy and reinforces American agriculture’s role in supporting supply chain resiliency, rural economies and innovation on a global stage,” said John Bode, CRA President & CEO. “In addition to expanding market opportunities for biobased products, CRA welcomes the executive order’s goal of addressing disruptive gaps in our domestic supply chain. We look forward to continuing our work with the Administration, Congress, and states on bipartisan solutions that move the needle and set American agriculture up for success.”
