CRA HOSTS THE NEBRASKA CORN GROWERS ASSOCIATION ON THEIR ANNUAL FLY-IN TRIP TO WASHINGTON, DC

On February 7, CRA hosted colleagues from the Nebraska Corn Growers Association on their annual fly-in trip to Washington, DC. United under the shared mission of advocating for the corn value chain, we discussed trade, the Farm Bill, advanced bioproducts, and the upcoming Plant Based Products Council conference in Omaha. We look forward to our continued partnership!

REPS. LAHOOD, NUNN, AND FLOOD CO-SPONSOR THE BIOMANUFACTURING AND JOBS ACT

Reps. Darin LaHood, Zachary Nunn, and Mike Flood are the latest co-sponsors of the Biomanufacturing and Jobs Act. CRA welcomes their support of legislation to strengthen U.S. agricultural markets, create new jobs in rural communities, and solidify our country’s position as a global leader in biomanufacturing. THE PLANT BASED PRODUCTS COUNCIL IS GETTING READY FOR ITS ANNUAL CONFERENCE – CIRCULAR SOLUTIONS

From April 8-10, 2024, in Omaha, NE, the Plant Based Products Council annual conference will convene businesses, industry leaders, policymakers and other stakeholders to discuss the industry’s current landscape and what lies ahead for the ag bioeconomy. PRIMIENT ANNOUNCES NEW SCIENCE BASED TARGETS

CRA member Primient has recently announced new science-based targets to reduce emissions associated with corn refining facilities. Using 2019 as a baseline, Primient plans to reduce carbon emissions by 46.2% by 2030. Additionally, Primient is among the first organizations globally to approve a FLAG (forest, land and agriculture) target. Learn more about Primient’s commitment to climate change mitigation.

REP. SCHNEIDER TOURS ROQUETTE’S MANUFACTURING PLANT IN ILLINOIS

In January, CRA member Roquette welcomed Rep. Brad Schnieder to its manufacturing plant in Illinois. Roquette is proud to produce ingredients that we enjoy in our food every day, and all are made from corn.

CARGILL WINS TWO BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE GROUP AWARDS

CRA member Cargill was recognized as an innovative company in the agriculture space and won two Business Intelligence Group (BIG) Awards in 2024. These awards are the Agriculture Organization Award and the Product Award for Cargill’s joint venture with BAR technologies, WindWings.
