CORN REFINERS ASSOCIATION APPLAUDS BIPARTISAN INTRODUCTION OF THE AG BIO ACT

The Corn Refiners Association commends the bipartisan reintroduction of the Agricultural Biorefinery Innovation and Opportunity (Ag BIO) Act in the House of Representatives. This important legislation, led by Reps. Zach Nunn (R-IA) and Nikki Budzinski (D-IL), will strengthen America’s rural economy, foster innovation in the bioeconomy, and create good-paying jobs.

CORN REFINERS URGE NEW APPROACH FROM MAHA COMMISSION

The Corn Refiners Association released a statement following its evaluation of a May 22 report from the Make America Healthy Again Commission. CRA President and CEO John Bode expressed disappointment in the report and urged the commission to use better procedures to get better results.

CORN REFINERS ASSOCIATION WELCOMES SYDNEY VAN DE MEULEBROECKE AS MANAGER OF WORKPLACE SAFETY

The Corn Refiners Association is pleased to announce the addition of Sydney Van de Meulebroecke as its new Manager of Workplace Safety. In this role, Van de Meulebroecke will oversee CRA’s efforts to celebrate and continue the outstanding improvement of workplace safety in the corn refining industry.

JOINT STATEMENT OF THE CORN REFINERS ASSOCIATION AND NATIONAL OILSEED PROCESSORS ASSOCIATION

The Corn Refiners Association and National Oilseed Processors Association, which represent the manufacturers of safe, heart-healthy vegetable oils, released the following statement in response to inaccurate public comments about seed oils.

CRA WELCOMES TRADE PROGRESS

CRA recognized the advancement in trade dialogue between the U.S. and two major trading partners that took place in the month of May.  

First the Trump Administration announced an agreement between the U.S. and the United Kingdom before, days later, rolling out a framework for future negotiations between the U.S. and China.  

CRA welcomes these developments and stands ready to assist in developing science-based trade standards with export partners around the world.

ADM recently hosted career development events for Illinois FFA Chapters at the company’s Chicago headquarters. More than 30 students from Chicago-area high schools engaged in a range of contests, career exploration, and meaningful connections.
