Corn Refiners Urge Strategic Growth in American Trade Policy

August 1, 2025

WASHINGTON, D.C. – As the Trump Administration hits another milestone in its ongoing efforts to ensure reciprocal trade, Corn Refiners Association President and CEO John Bode released a statement encouraging President Donald Trump and his trade team to continue building a strong and resilient U.S. food and agriculture economy as the Administration reshapes global trade policies.

“American agriculture accounts for almost 20% of the U.S. economy and it needs trade. The work this Administration has done over the last few months is laying a new foundation for global trade policy. We are excited to see ways in which this Administration’s trade policy can continue to support U.S. competitiveness and regional food security. We seek continued U.S. leadership in shaping the global economy.”
