WASHINGTON, D.C. – Corn Refiners Association President and CEO John Bode reacted to Brooke Rollins securing confirmation from the Senate to be the 33rd Secretary of Agriculture.
“Brooke Rollins is poised to be a critical voice for American agriculture in the Trump Administration, and we are pleased to see her confirmed on a bipartisan basis. Strong leadership at USDA is vital to the success of all aspects of American agriculture, including growing the ag bioeconomy and diversifying the domestic markets available to U.S. corn farmers. We are excited to support Rollins and the rest of the USDA team to advance the interests of American agriculture and related industries, which account for 20% of America’s economy. Through science- and risk-based policies, we can create new jobs, strengthen our food system, and build a stronger rural America.”
