WASHINGTON, DC – In reaction to the passing of Representative Jackie Walorski, John Bode, President and CEO of the Corn Refiners Association, issued the following statement:
“We are saddened to learn of the passing of Representative Jackie Walorski, along with her staff Emma Thomson and Zachery Potts. Not only was Representative Walorski a wonderful person and a leader for the state of Indiana, but her experience in trade and agriculture helped pave the way for important policy advancements that improved the lives of all Americans. We extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Representative Walorski, along with the loved ones of her staff and Edith Schmucker.”
